Eligibility factors used in the checker
Official SIC and HS6 lists
Use the registered four-digit SIC code and a relevant six-digit HS product code. Confirm both against the official BICS eligibility publication on GOV.UK. This site does not reproduce or invent the list.
GB manufacturing
Confirm the manufacturing activity for which support may be claimed takes place in Great Britain.
Site-specific electricity
Record annual grid-supplied electricity for every claimed site. Each site must reach at least 33 MWh independently.
Eligible manufacturing share
Estimate the percentage of site electricity related to eligible manufacturing. The checker reports the corresponding indicative relief band without using a cash rate.
